TMsr is designed to perform the following operations:

snow removal;
transportation of rolling stock (flat cars, freight wagons, special purpose cars) to work sites;
shunting at industrial yards and in city undergrounds;
transportation of tools and equipment to work site;
delivery of work teams to site.

The vehicle is fully self-propelled. The control cabin is mounted on the front end of the vehicle frame. There are two entrance doors located at each lateral side of the cabin and one door to enter the vehicle deck is situated in the rear wall of the cabin. Additionally, there can be mounted 8 extra seats for personnel transportation on the vehicle deck behind the cabin. Thus the passenger capacity can be enlarged up to 14 persons. The power pack is placed under the deck in the middle part of the vehicle frame. The snow blower is fixed to the front buffer beam and is detachable.
