1ADM-1.5 has a telescopic basket which helps to service catenary elements situated over the contact wire at once.

The vehicle was designed to carry out the following operations:

  • scheduled maintenance and emergency recovery operations;
  • Transportation of loads on coupled wagons;

  • Delivery of workers to site;

  • Shunting at station yards;

  • Power supply to welding equipment at work site;

  • Power supply to electrical equipment working at 380/220V, 50Hz.;

1ADM-1.5 catenary maintenance vehicle is fully self-propelled. The control cabin is mounted on the front end of the vehicle frame and there is a cargo lifting crane placed on top of it. YaMZ-238 B-33 diesel engine is installed under the frame in the middle section of it. There is a lifting platform mounted on the rear part of the vehicle frame. orgue is transmitted via belt-drive to the 3-phase alternator and via hydro-mechanical transmission to cardan shafts and air-compressor. Torque from cardan shafts is further transmitted to the axle gear boxes of wheel-sets.
