The vehicle was designed to carry out the following operations:

  • Drilling of pits for installation of coloured sighal lights masts;
  • Excavation of trenches for cable laying alongside the railway tracks;
  • Transportation of loads on coupled flat-wagons;

  • Delivery of workers to site;

  • Shunting at station yards;

  • Power supply to welding equipment at work site;

  • Power supply to electrical equipment working at 380/220V, 50Hz.;

ADMsh vehicle is fully self-propelled. The control cabin is mounted on the front end of the vehicle frame. The cargo lifting articulated jib is placed on the rear end of the vehicle and serves to perform cargo handling, installation or de-installation of coloured signal lights masts. The crane is also used with Delta TR1200 trench cutter to excavate trenches for cable laying operations. While transported to or from the work site the trench cutter, augers and rotator are kept fixed on the vehicle's deck between the cabin and the crane.  Cummins Diesel engine is installed under the frame in its middle section.

Torgue is transmitted from hydraulic gear box to the 3-phase alternator and cardan shafts. Torque from cardan shafts is further transmitted to the axle gear boxes of wheel-sets. The air-compressor is driven by belt-drive.
